It doesn't say it on the store page at the moment so I am guessing no, but it would be quite the disappointment if it suddenly appeared as a requirement for it, I doubt it though as I don't believe it's an epic game just an exclusive for a while.

Personally i've never cared about having another launcher. The issue isn't having to install epic games store, the issue is you even thinking about purchasing this game in the first place to worry about epic games store.
