Game should just go free to play

Everyone knows about this game and it's reputation and I don't see anyone paying to play this. $8 on sale is $8 too expensive. Make it free to play and bloat the game with cosmetic micro transactions if you want any hope of making a profit. I'd play this for free to see if it's really as bad as it looks.

The studio did do something different, and it failed. Studios that do bad, fail. Just like any business that decides to do something stupid. What's even worse you're riding that god awful remake train that is a current status quo. There's nothing original coming out, and if you're going to call me an old man don't request remakes of old ass games.

I'm not riding a remake train. That was sarcasm. I hope to god that doesn't happen. I'd prefer if the Saints Row IP came back in a couple years or so with a completely new entry in the series or it was never seen again.

I never requested this Reboot in the first place. I'm not a diehard Saints Row fan. I played 2 and 3. 4 was a joke. When I saw the way they were handling the reboot compared to what I knew of the original, I knew it'd be trash and I got a lot of enjoyment watching content digging into it.

Eventually the industry got worse and now every other game that releases is another Saints Row reboot. So I'm at a point where I'm over it. I'm done consuming. If a game is well made, free of woke bs, and not made for a "modern audience" I'll purchase it and enjoy it.

I saw this game for $8 and realized it's still too much. I wouldn't pay a cent for this product and voiced my frustration here with this post. I know many others feel similarly so I thought I'd be nice about it and say they should throw some microtransactions in there to justify going f2p and that I'd probably try it out.

The truth is that I'd almost certainly never play this game even if it was free. I was being generous.

I think I got this game apart of a key bundle or something for practically nothing with all it's dlc. I'd say it's worth it's $5-10 fee if you have nothing else to play.

But in general the AAA-AAAA scene is a complete joke right now, and only the indie/AA studios are making actual games that are worth buying.
