As least consider that this might be your fault for jumping on a hate-bandwagon instead of accepting that the reboot wasn't THAT bad.

Definitely bad, worst in the series admittedly, but not THAT bad.

The marketing was kinda right to respond like that against the toxic gamers. Why should they enable that kind of "aNti-wOkE" behavior and just give in to their demands?

And Who knows maybe there will be a Saints Row 6 that will have the Original crew from SR3 & SR4, but as for the story setting, it would have to be something that would have to bypass the earth being blown up part or it could be an Alternate World or time line, Meh i don't know..

From every point of view the game was a failure. I wouldn't say it's "bad", but it's hard to say it's worth the price.
They ditched the previous SR feel for the reboot.
Well, it's true that it's extremely difficult to make a sequel to a game where you play the president of the United States and fight aliens in virtual space (I've been to hell, too).
But fans loved it, and many of them didn't want to see it lost. Also, if you throw it away, the game will have to face off against other similar games, like GTA5, without any weapons. Frankly speaking, this game doesn't have a single advantage over GTA5. Aside from the graphics, SR2 is much more unique and even appealing (in fact, I think the game was probably trying to be like SR2).
The fact that it was so buggy at release shows that they didn't do their job in the first place, regardless of the trailer reviews.

It should be noted that the predecessor to this game, Agents of Mayhem, was also unsuccessful.

They failed so many times that they could no longer sustain themselves. It just is the thing.

If you guys played CP2077, you all would have remembered that it was buggy as fudge when it first came out BUT stuff got fixed & the game is now way better than it was on Release day.

I Played & Finished SR5 on my PC & had only run into 2 to 3 bugs ( Not game breaking ) & i had fun with the gameplay along with a good story.

Not everyone likes what others like nor should others influence ones decision on what to play. Let one determine weather they will like it or not & not base it on just Negative Reviews.

Have you looked into why Volition was closed ? If you looked for the information then you would know the reason & instead be basing it on your own guess or idea..

Failing companies dont close profitable parts of the company. The first parts that get scrapped are the least profitable part and as volition was the very first cut then its simple to put 2 and 2 together.

This was MONTHS before so it's obvious that Embracer Co. let go of Volition along with another Game Developer & Embracer also wants to sell other IP's in order for their so called Reformation of the Embracer Co.
