I recall when I played this on Epic having trouble with the baton stuns counting. You need to make sure each stun is done to a different enemy.
The trouble is I can't even get a single one to register :(
(for any of these weapons - even though it comes up with 'double kill' and the marshall people are definitely stunned, and it's definitely the gunslingers I'm shooting with the shotgun)
Maybe I'll try unequipping and re-equipping or something. What's strange is when you bring up the weapon wheel, the corresponding challenge doesn't show for those weapons either - the area where it shows them is just blank.
Weirdly the pistol related marshall weapon challenge worked fine
Double / triple kill is painful cuz you have less than 1 second between the kills. So upgrade these weapons to max and make sure the enemies stay in a line so you dont have to aim to much.
I know how to do it. I am doing it! The double kill notification is even coming up on the right - they're just not registering for the weapon challenges.
Seems to be a fairly common thing from searching around though :(
And most solutions involve starting again from scratch and saving before buying the weapons in case they are bugged - which really, really, really sucks :(
Have been through a lot of things with support (although just the fairly standard: verify, new game, disable steam cache) and nothing seems to get rid of it.
The only way to get the bonus from doing it on these bugged weapons, is to complete the challenge in one sitting without save+load. Then, even though the description goes, the effect is applied
So my tip for anyone else, is to save right before buying a weapon. Then create a brand new save straight away, load that, and you can see if they're bugged - reload 1st save, buy them and complete the challenge in one go.
Mine were most of the marshall weapons, all except the pistol.
