Genuinely curious, when was the rant removed from the opening?

Original version (e.g., 2022 release) had the player character whining throughout the opening. Steam release doesn't have this, it's been reduced to one line, then jumps right into the messages. When was this removed?

I noticed this too! At first I wondered if I had accidentally skipped it. I think it's a good move that they removed it.

The original opening was genuinely cringe, honestly embarrassing, out of character, and the Boss's stream of expletives came across as almost swearing just for the sake of swearing.

I was curious to know if it was removed from only Steam or all platforms. I started a New Game in the Epic Games Store version and replayed the mission and it's gone from there too.
