UPDATE/FIX the port CAPCOM !
Game running ~50fps with any settings wich is unacceptable for games like this , especially when the animations are tied to the the framerate , 60 fps is a must !

Well now CAPCOM ... i bought this so i can support the game/franchise , the actual game is pretty good , the performance not so much , i'm guessing it's the DRM , people on PC that pirate will pirate no matter what , and piracy actually helps (it's free marketing) , and can also be used as a DEMO (for cases like this, to make a decission before buying the game) ,etc

I have a 4 Core CPU with a R9 380 4GB , 4GB RAM , Temps are fine , cpu, gpu , ram usage etc ,
(People have problems even on beefy systems btw) tried all compatibility modes , run as admin , program priority , cpu affinity , i OC'ed both CPU and GPU , also checked programs that could interfere with the game , but didn't see a difference ...
This game is made in MT Framework (known for good performance in the past) , so considering this runs well on the other platforms (PS4 , Switch , Xbox) , i think it's either that DRM that i just mentioned or just poor/rushed port !

CAPCOM it's the end of 2018 , you guys are heading in a great direction recently, with strong titles like Monster Hunter World , Resident Evil 2 , Devil May Cry V, etc , but things like the fighting game department and problems like this drag you behind !
I could have just asked a refund and call it a day , but i hope you listen to this long thing that i just wrote and to other people and take notice , with a patch and improving your overall company (please forward this to somebody that can do something if possible)

CAPCOM is one of the biggest companies in gaming history , do something about this , don't just wait for your salary and call it a day , thank you !

i wish they would fix it for older machines like mine which is a mobile GPU 940mx, isn't much but i can play games like guilty gear xrd, dragon ball fighterz, overwatch and devil may cry SE all at locked 60 fps with reasonable settings, but with this game, i have to play with a pretty low resolution and in some sections i am literally 5 frames shy of getting a rock solid performance......i really wish they would release a more optimized patch for lower-end hardware.....for christ sake they ported this perfectly to the switch which is a very underpowered mobile GPU ;-;.......and people can't say my pc sucks when i can play devil may cry SE with like 30+ enemies on-screen with no frame drops....and that is running on the same bloody engine as this game XD

There is only a 20% difference between yours and the minimum recommended GPU: https://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=3455&gid2=1150&compare=Nvidia%20GeForce%20940MX%202GB-vs-Nvidia%20GeForce%20GTX%20650%202GB
Your GPU still gets driver updates , so it's supported by NVIDIA , but not by CAPCOM , it should work technically if you play on lower settings/resolution, what they did instead of optimizing the game is they spent money on the Denuvo DRM , this shows they don't have fate in their product ! People will buy the game anyway especially on other platforms , since the game is actually good , but not the performance on PC (in most of the cases) ...
I dunno.. i'm kinda dissapointed .Wanted just to play a Mega Man game since they didn't release one in 8 years... let's hope they eventually remove the DRM after it hits a certain number of sales and maybe work on a performance patch? Mega Man is their mascot and what made them what they are today , but they don't seem to care that much ... nobody sees games as art anymore... it's all about the money !

My desktop has same issue. 7700k, 32 gb ram, gtx 1080, locks fps to 47. Switching to ingegrated will go above 60 fps, but can only maintain 720p due to performance. Ive spent hours literally troubleshooting. Even fresh installed windows. The X legacy collection does the same (but original mm collection is fine ). Really want a patch now

I Steam Shared the game with a friend yesterday, so i can see what results he gets since he has a very low spec laptop :

( I3 2348m 2.3ghz, 4gb ram, nvidia 610m 1gb ),

he gets solid 60fps with 640x480 resolution , vsync off , aa off ... I can't get mine to run like that with whatever settings i use... so at this point it's not underpowered hardware that is the fault !

Yup.. even you with good af specs still have problems... there was a guy somewhere over here with a Titan V etc and still had performance problems...

We need to let CAPCOM know that we really need a patch !

For now try switching to your integrated graphics card, in my case my dedicated is nvidia, my integrated is intel....and for some reason it runs better on the intel

I think we should just send them emails with our problems and also let them know they need to check the Community Hub on Steam from time to time...
