Choppy Frame Rate Fix
I fixed my choppy frame rate issue by going into the game options and changing to Full Screen Mode (not borderless/windowed).

That's because running Windowed Borderless (Fullscreen) or Windowed Mode requires more system resource, compared to Fullscreen Mode.

as quite obvious as this sounds, there are a few exceptions where the game actually runs better when in windowed mode (like senran kagura or .hack//gu trilogy), so this is good to know, even if it's obvious.

i have it in fullscreen. the fps keeps fluctuating between 57 and 60 even in custcenes and is causing a juddering effect.

Far as I know, there is no fix for this. I've looked literally everywhere. I have 8700k, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM and game on SSD. I also have a G-Sync monitor(PG279Q) and FPS capped at 60 through rivatuner. That kind of setup usually results in smooth frametimes in almost all the game I have. Then there's also the stutter that happens when jumping. It's more of a screen judder though. Wish Capcom would've fixed this issue cause the game itself was great.

in my case.....i discovered that the game, for some reason, hates nvidia, i played on my 940mx and i was getting around 40 fps roughly, then i switched to my integrated intel graphics card and the framerate was stuck at 60 for the most part (i got all achievements with that).....which is weird because with any other game, the 940mx is way better but this game just hates nvidia for some reason.
