I guess I can't blame them for not wanting to make something that's gonna sell a handful of copies when they could pump those resources into Super Hyper Giga Ultra Exciting Super Monster Evil Street Resident Fighter Hunter XVI Super Ultimate Arcade Edition Deluxe on a Sesame Seed Bun 2 Hyper Remake and sell a bajillionty trillionty gazillion copies in the first four seconds.
They always act like they're excited for more Mega Man but then nothing happens.
Battle Network is a good series and Star Force is even better. Then there's Fully Charged, which, the first several episodes sucked NGL but it turned into a decent show by the end, and the comics were pretty decent aside from the "one big fight" problem that far too many comics have.
Definitely. The 90's cartoon is one of my favorite cartoons ever, and FC really can't compete. But there are still a number of really fun episodes. Like the one where Dr. Light goes on a date with a supervillain and Mega Man disguises himself as a waiter to sabotage their evening, but ends up accidentally making everything go perfectly. It also had a couple of creative ideas that they couldn't have really done if it had been a strict game adaptation, like when Mega Man copies a villain, he gains bits of their personality too, which tends to be one of the episode's main conflicts. It was a pretty clever show--it just had a rough start, and has its own continuity with only the vaguest of connections to classic.
Also, I should point out, the show's main villain and the comic's main villain are two of my favorites in the entire property.
I dunno dude megaman 8 gave us that kid voice thing for him.. He's also "not" astroboy.
No, they shouldn't. Just because you personally dislike (or don't understand) certain things doesn't mean entire genres should stop existing.
There was an X6 dub? It barely had VA at all, in the original. Mostly just Japanese "ouch"es.
Y'all just need to chill and play some other games in the mean time. Might I suggest other great games by Capcom such as Resident Evil 8 or 4, Monster Hunter World or the new Street Fighter 6. They are all quality games and the more money Capcom has for more projects, the more they likely they will open up to lesser profitable ventures like a Megaman 12.
X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, Command Mission, Battle Network, Battle Network 2, Battle Network 3, Battle Network 4, Battle Network 5, Battle Network 6, Network Transmission, Battleship Challenge, Zero, Zero 2, Zero 3, Zero 4, Powered Up, MHX, ZX, ZXA, Star Force, Star Force 2 and Star Force 3. Just counting the major games.
You know how many have been released since 11? One, and it was garbage.
It's sad--the game actually had pretty decent gameplay. It just became a turd among turds with the dumb monetization crap. I played for several months and never even finished the dang story mode. Not to mention the drop rates for S Ranks. I actually checked once, and it turns out if they weren't featured, you had literally a one in two thousand chance of getting an S Rank character. That was the second I stopped playing.
