I beat Blockman with "1/2 damage item" and zero energy tank, but recognize we can buy energy tanks.

You can buy 9 energy tanks, so just grin to buy 9 energy tanks ? I am playing superhero mode. Still feel this too easy with 9 energy tank😔 . I think can beat any bosses with "1/2 damage item" and 2-3 energy.

It is easy to cheese superhero mode with the shop from what I have heard, but thats actually decent design as if you want a harder game the shop isn't mandatory.

Later MegaMan games were designed so that you can variate the difficulty as you see fit. That's why they let you turn your upgrades on and off.
