Game Crashing! HELP!
Every time I run the game, after some minutes the game crashes and I get that message:

" Fatal error.

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED :
IRender-> getDeviceContext()-> Map(mpStagingBuffer,0,D3D11_MAP_READ_WRITE,0,&mapped) "

I reinstalled the game, roll back the nvidia driver, and didn't solved it.

PC: Windows 10,
CPU: INTEL I5 4670K
GPU: GEFORCE GTX 970
RAM: 8GB

Maybe you overclock too much or disable 3rd party utility software.

In my case this happened to me by either overclocking too hard, or changing the config.ini file too much

Thanks a lot. I used a program to underclock my gpu and it seems that it worked. :D

i get this Error when trying to open with "Integrated Graphics":

E_INVALIDARG :
IRender -> getDevice() -> Createtexture2D(&desc,pinitdata,&ptex)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And i get this Error when trying to change the Resolution with "High Performance NVIDIA Processor":

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED:
IRender -> getDevice() -> CreateBuffer(&desc,NULL,&pbuff)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My PC Specs:
- CPU: Intel Pentium B960 2.20 GHz (32 MB)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 610M (468.56 MB)
- RAM: 8,00 GB (6,79 GB Useable)
- OS: Windows 10 1803
- Purchase Year: 2012 (Second Hand)

I solved my problem(not sure if the same tho) by setting the same configurations for both Nvidia Panel and Ingame video settings. For some odd reason, some games can crash if they try to override Nvidia Own Settings and somehow Nvidia doesn't allow the game to do so as it wishes.

That caused my freezing in Megaman 11, and also In Guilty Gear Revelator 2. I don't have this issue in any other game.

Also checkout for TDR Issues in games, they're becoming pretty popular. It happens because of both 2D Hardware Acceleration and 3D Acceleration being turned on at the same time in different applications.

Like Chrome uses 2D Hardware Acceleration, and Megaman 11 uses 3D Hardware Acceleration. The GPU will thus try to adapt the clocks by lowering it's voltage to save on energy or increase performance.

These High and Low peaks in voltage can cause games to crash;
Solution 1 - Close your browser;(Some Browsers use 2D Hardware Acceleration)
Solution 2 - Disable Desktop Composition for .exe file property of the game
Solution 3 - Set your GPU for Maximum Performance(No Energy Saving) on your GPU Settings Panel.
Solution 4 - Use an overclock software to Set the Min. Offset of the 2D Clock to it's maximum fixed possible value. if u have no idea, just increase it little by little and check if the game's stability improves.

The TDR problem in games is mostly caused by a 2nd Hardware Accelerated Aplication running in the background as you play the game. The GPU Drivers will constantly try adapt for both performance and saving energy consumption for both aplications(The Game and The Background Running Application).

To circumivent this, all you need to do is set the Min. Offset of the 2D Clocks to a maximum fix'd value. That way these low and high peaks voltage don't happen.
