To beat Megaman 11 you need to endure 3-4 hours of setback.
Long time megaman fans will find unhappiness in getting stuck on their first stage. It happened to me as well.

Truth is, past Megaman have always been easy. Due to a hardware limitation, all you need to do is focus on making that single good jump and accurate shot. Most of the time, you won't be disturbed.

Example : Megaman 4. Slow scrolling and easy jumps.

In Megaman 11, however, due to a better hardware the environment comes alive. You will lose, and lose a lot. It is only after my 20th attempt on the same stage, I realize I can slowly bend in with the environment. I could feel my skill improvement and I could now win.

Don't give up, in 4 hours you should be able to fly and bombard everything. That's where the fun starts.

Mega Man has always been trial and error. The best example would be Guts Man's stage in mm1.

Just saying, no offence or anything, but I beat the whole game on Superhero blindly in 4 hours. Not going to lie, first stage DID challenge me, but not for this long.

why do you write this post like it is written in stone
its a lie
or are you one of those trollers that tries to under average bait?

I always found megaman to be getting used to situations you are put in. For example I had no problems with fuse man and tundra man's stage in my first run. Why? Megaman 10. In 10 we have pump man's stage and Commando man's stage. Both of them are VERY similar to fuse and tundra. Bounce man didn't give me much problem either , well at least the bounce ball platforms cause the enemies got me good, thanks to megaman 7 and spring man. Even though it was my first run I beat these without any issue since I was used to the feeling of these style of levels.

Honestly I think that the limitations in the previous games made the games harder especially in megaman 3 due to the absurd slowdown and weird hit boxes. 9 , 10 and 11 are while hard at first are pretty solid and fare.

The difficulty is fine, it just has deflated descriptions of difficulty. Normal should be called Hard, Casual should be Normal.

Normal is semi easy though (at least for me), although I am a veteran of the series. I mean its not easy, it's just normal.

I finished my first run on Normal in 3 hours. I guess someone uninitiated to the series might have trouble, but why would someone playing since the NES days struggle for 4 hours on beating their first stage?

I just played the demo over and over until I got used to that knockback.

NOW I’M THE ♥♥♥♥!

I love this game, but now I can’t play Mega Man 8 because it’s too damn slow lol

I don't mind trial and error for learning stage mechanics, and im even a major fan of interesting level gimmicks, but so many other games have done these way better. when donkey kong country 3 dixie kong's double trouble has better auto-scrolling sections, you know you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. (love you insta kill fire in torchman's stage.... NOT!)

I reached the Wily stage on normal but first boss is ridiculous. I have 9 energy crystals and they are still not enough to cover the energy he drains with every hit. This has not happened in any NES Megaman game where 2-3 crystals were enough to beat a boss.

This is a serious fun spoiler by Capcom and bad game design.

It's hard to beat but it's fun all the way!

Learn the pattern my friend. Every time [redacted] has appeared in the past it was a pain to beat. I eventually managed to beat [redacted] on normal buster only with no E-Tanks or gears.

In MM3 he was far easier and probably the most impressive boss battle. Here they ruined it.

My issue is not with the difficulty per se but that they increased it so much when compared to the 8 robot master bosses. jThis is final boss level difficulty. Plus I lose 4-5 lives till reaching him so 9 lives, 9 energy crystals, 9 cursings are the minimum for that stage.

Also which weapon is the best for that boss? Tried a few but they seem to have the same effect.

The devil in 3 is one of the worst by far. His hit box is super wonky and the constant slowdown makes you lose your balance. I love every devil in the series with the exception of MK2 from 3 and Shadow Devil from X5. Those are badly designed.
