For once I wish my control was more limited and slide worked like the older games.
you have a faulty controller then.....i beat the game 4 times with the same controller in both bluetooth and connected to pc and i have had 0 issues with the controller.
same, i use R2 to rapid fire and i just use down and jump to slide because i've been so used to it ever since i did a megamarathon where i finished all 10 games in a week.....i'm used to it and it has never given me issues XD
Just downloaded and started playing MM11 today on PS4 and it's happening via my PS4 dualshock (actually a "Circa" brand replaxemenf controller), but I came here seeking advice on this crap issue as i keep dying to pitfalls for no reason right off the bat! Guess there's no help to be had then idk what to do.
Edit: it seems I've had better luck actually using the L3 stick as opposed to the d-pad which I prefer using on 2d platformers like this and hollow knight etc. So far so good w the L3....
