In addition, something very much like this was in Megaman: Powered Up on the PSP. Got some pretty good renditions of levels from other entries in the series, though you were limited to the enemies and bosses of the original (revamped into the Powered Up engine, whatever Capcom wound up calling it).

There was gonna be a game like that. MegaMan Universe. But Capcom cancelled it. There's the Construction Mode in MegaMan Powered Up, though.

Well technicaly Capcom did it first via Powered Up. And now we have the fan made Mega Maker sooooo yeah.And yes you can share your levels.
