Any form of New Game+ ?

When you finish the game, there are some overpowered upgrades and I instantly thought that it would be insanely fun to plow through the game once more with them equipped. Is there any option to start a new game with progress from the finished game file? Or if not, are there any plans to implement this feature in a future update?

Once you beat the game you can revisit any stage and the boss will return, compared to the rooms being empty prior to game completion. Plus you can replay the Wily Stages freely. So it's not quite NG+, but it's close enough.

This is also probably why the (First Play) achievements exist, to encourage you to start a new save and do those challenges instead of go back with the upgrades later to do them.
