OPUS: Rocket of Whispers

Do you need to play the previous game?
i bought it not knowing it's a series. i think the name is OPUS the day we found earth. do you need to play it? is it any good?

No need to play it if you're worried that you might not understand the story bc you didn't play the previous game. The story is separate (both are in a loosely related timeline, but not necessary to play both)

Gameplay is different - in fact, every game in this series (including the most recent game of the series - Echo of Starsong) has a different style of gameplay

Personally I liked it - the gameplay is about finding a planet based on clues (kinda like a puzzle game) and that was fun for me. Story itself isn't very deep, but I didn't have any issues with it.
