Yeah i got it... Spam "Rage" or what scroll makes enemy creatures fury and attack their own units. I did it like that ;)

I just tied up the castle troops with mages and summoned some skeletons on the wall next to the mage. Then you can give it some shields and weapons boost until the mage is dead. Then the remaining troops can just run around using your mage'
s range to kill troops as they chase you.

Wait, that is towers of light. For towers of Ara, I spawned calvary right in the telaport behind the enemy mage and killed him first. The rest was cleanup. Just kill the mage before he spawns too many troops.

I beat this mission by retreating my entire army over the Northeast bridge. I cast ghost shield on Percival, which increases his defenses to 100% so he is immune to normal damage. This battle will take a long time and ghost shield only lasts 15 turns so you will need at least 2 and possibly 3 ghost shield scrolls -- fortunately they are pretty cheap. After getting everyone over the bridge set up Percival on the bridge, he can hold off the enemy army indefinitely. Set up your catapults so they can help kill units that approach Percival on the bridge, but be careful to keep them out of range of skeleton archers and especially stone golems. Golems will occasionally start to cross the ford to the west of the bridge, but you can usually get them to retreat by hitting them with catapults. Station cavalry near the ford just in case to deal with anything that crosses there. Mages aren't really all that useful in this mission since they do little damage and can't freeze golems, just get them across the bridge and out of the way. Eventually the enemy necromacer mage will confront Percival at the bridge, between Percival's charges and the catapults it doesn't take long to kill him. Once the mage is dead cleanup is pretty easy. I found there were a couple of golems stuck in a circle of woods that couldn't get out and my catapults and Percival couldn't touch because of the woods. Just bring up your mages and niggle them to death with mage blasts, as human mages ignore obstacles.
