Can you explore the Titanic before it sank?

I’m really interested in this game. As a kid, I played and beat Titanic: Adventure Out of Time several times, and was in love with the game. One of my favorite aspects of the game was walking around the Titanic and interacting with the passengers. Can you do the same with this game?

Titanic: Honor and Glory is doing a great job of modelling the ship before she sank. They have been working on it for at least the last 5 years and it will take another few years before they are complete. We focused on the shipwreck and the key sinking event.
