Place plague??

It wants me to do something with the blue flashing area at the start, but I have nothing to place, and I can't interact with it. It says press menu - menu takes me to the minimap and shows me the controls - nothing about a plaque.

5 mins in and it makes no sense. Pretty view, but terrible design.

How do we open the inventory for the ROV on the controllers in VR to get the plaque out? The menu/info buttons won't bring up anything while in the sub or while in the ROV.

Hi BullShark,

To deploy the ROV menu using Oculus just press the right-hand controller (B) button and on Vive press the right-hand top info button while in the ROV.

The menu UI should appear in front of you. when it does just point your right-hand controller at the plaque located in the inventory UI to the right and pull the trigger to select.

If this is not working your room space might be off, try resetting it again by running through the steam room space setup process.

There was a bug in the system for the Samsung HMD Odyssey controllerst. The "info" buttons did nothing to bring up the ROV menu. After several game cache checks and reinstalls, the "menu" buttons on the controllers began to work and I was able to place the plaque.

Another "bug" found. During the cleaning and desalinization phase of the program, the captain's briefcase disappeared and still has not reappeared after quitting and coming back into the game. I will have to start from the beginning again.

Also, LOL, the videos under the Experience tab experience a HUGE amount of stuttering and completely blacking out if you try to move your head while the videos are playing.

Which Oculus have you used? I am using Oculus/Meta Quest 3 and there is nothing happening on right-hand controller (B) button. What a shame to have to quit a game after 5 min of game play

Sad. Coming up on six years and the developers haven't done a darn thing to fix all the bugs. I wish I could say something to make y'all feel better but you know how that goes.

Yep, shame shame, so much development and then it's not even playable :( Very frustrating if you think that a key-binding is probably fixed in a couple of minutes...
