How does Dive 2 work?

I just started Baldr sky and I'm about to finish the first route and I'm curious if Dive 2 is more like Muv Luv Alternative where it's completely linear or if it has routes like dive 1. No spoilers I just want a simple answer

Routes, but like Dive 1 they are in order. The reason is made clear in the final route.

There are 3 routes in both Dive 1 and Dive 2, though as it makes clear in the game you have to go through something called Reminiscence after the first route of Dive 2 before you can go on to the final 2 routes.

As with Dive 1 the routes are in a fixed order and similar in style.

A more detailed answer without spoilers

Dive 2 first route branches off the third route of dive 1, there will be 3 choices given to you throughout that branch after you reach the choice which sets you on the third route (you will know what I mean when you play more)

Your response for these three options decides if you enter dive 1 route 3 or dive 2 route 1

To unlock dive 2 route 2, you need to complete route 1 and play "reminiscence" and complete all nodes (from main menu)

Once done with Reminiscence, you will see a new option at the start of the game, that sets you on route 2 if you chooese it

After route 2, you get a third option at start of game, that sets you on final route

After route 3, you get two plugins, activate them and start from chapter 11 using scenario skip (unlocked at end of route 3) or just play route 3 again, then you get the true ending
