walkthru or guide?
i understand there is something of a forced order of routes, but is there a walkthru to avoid bad ends? It's already got so many hours of content, I don't know if I'll ever be able to finish it. I'd at least like to be able to skip having to go back and experiment with different choices repeatedly.

Thanks for anyone that can help!

Chinatsu Good: Choose "Believe Agent" and win the big fight (both in ch14).

Dive 2's walkthrough is a bit more complicated and also somewhat spoilery.
Also note that I translated these completely on the fly and I don't know exactly what they translated the choices to in the actual English release of the game so they may be worded slightly differently there (though they should be very similar).

In addition, he gives out some tips for the gameplay as well:

1. DO NOT RELY ON RANGED WEAPONS. focus on melee, ranged is nerfed heavily and you will likely find yourself walled in the later parts of the game if you rely on cheesing the game with ranged weapons, and it will be a bad time
2. even if you are a true god gamer dont play dive 1 on very hard, it is not balanced for it and that difficulty didnt even exist for dive 1 at release. fighting hordes of enemies with beginner weapons is an unholy slog

dive 1 on hard -> dive 2 very hard is the ideal experience

EDIT: Found a full guide on reddit: Pastebin[pastebin.com]

Hope this helps

I'm on my first playthrough also and was wondering the same thing. Just reached the first choice and took a break till I know what I'm doing.

So if anyone is kind enough to provide a walkthrough, or do choices even matter in this one?

Google was surprisingly unhelpful.

When you reach the endings in a same route twice (any ending is ok) , all the branch in the route will be visible in scenario map in the game.
If you want to avoid normal/bad ends,
Also, "本編攻略" in "Baldr Wiki" (in Japanese) is already available. (The guide is simple and machine translation seems mostly working.)

Why would you avoid bad ends.

@ MagnusOZI
Yes, this is the first half (formerly released as "Dive1") and the second half is "Dive2".

note: in machine translation by Chrome, "true" is Makoto and "Sky" is Sora.

However, I recommend not to get too much information before playing. I have regret I did.

As far as I remember, it's difficult to get normal or bad ends (at least in the first 4 routes, haven't played the last 2). You basically have to lose an important battle near the end or take too much time is any kind of route heroine rape/humiliation rescue combat scenes . Most choices don't matter all that much I'd say. Might get you bunch of different scenes or new scenes. You might need a guide getting onto new routes, this does requires picking a new choice in some of the cleared routes sometimes.

What is Scenario Jump? It's mentioned in the walkthrough, I've beaten 2 of the endings on the good one and by the name it should mean I can skip around the route, but I can't?

"Every time you clear a route be sure to save and load that save when going for the next route. Be sure to use a save from the good ending of every route since that'll unlock the epilogue and scenario jump."

So what does this exactly entail? Can i have all endings in same save or do i need to ONLY have the good ending on each save? Or must you ONLY have good ending in the save? It's kinda confusing and don't wanna do it wrong as it sounds like hell repeating it all.

You have to reach the good ending of all 6 routes.

Once you complete a route it will prompt you to save your game. That save will be used like a New Game+ since you abilities and other things will carry over to that new game.

What he means in the guide is that you need to save at the good ending of a route and load from there to continue to the other routes. You can read all the bad endings and save them, but in order to unlock the epilogue and scenario jump, you will need to load from the good endings only. So essentially if you wanna read the bad endings, make sure they are on seperate saves so that it dosent ruin your chances of getting the epilogue and scenario jump at end of it all.

Feel free to ask again if you have any other questions or if i didnt explain properly, ill try to explain better if so.

cant say i have cleared the game to be sure but this sounds sketchy " You can read all the bad endings and save them, but in order to unlock the epilogue and scenario jump, you will need to load from the good endings only" common thinking makes me believe you just have to get all good endings on a save, doesnt matter if you got a bad one or not....thats how it usually works on every vn.
