[LINUX] Won't run

The game will not start from the menu. From the terminal:

/Goldmine
./Goldmine: error while loading shared libraries: libgconf-2.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So, I installed gconf. This was the result:

./Goldmine

(Goldmine:1041215): Pango-ERROR **: 15:00:20.917: Harfbuzz version too old (1.4.2)

Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)

Harfbuzz is installed on my system, version 2.6.6.1. There are lots of Harfbuzz files and folders, both in my main Steamapps folder, as well as /.local/share/Steam.

So, any help here?

I wish I could help with this, but I don't know how. The Linux and MacOS version have been nothing but trouble, which is why I no longer offer them. My suspicion is that this is due to the software I use to create these cross-platform builds, but I don't know for certain.

I understand this is frustrating and I would be happy to refund your purchase regardless of how many hours you may have played. Please link this reply if you contact Steam Support. If for some reason they are unable to refund you, please post here again, and I'll personally refund you via PayPal.

I appreciate the reply. I will try to download a Windows version, which may very well run with Proton.
