resetting progress

Sometimes I want to completely reset my progress. I click on the orange gear in the upper right of the screen and get "Be warned! Resetting progress includes the timer, the money, the levels, the workers, and all of the prestige." That's exactly what I want but when I click on "Reset Progross," the screen goes blank and then goes right back to where I was working. Is there something I'm missisng?

I went through all the prestige levels and my total accumulated gold was over one TRILLION dollars and I still can't reset my progress. Is there something I can do?

Hi! Sorry I missed your initial post. The reset button should work fine. What operating system are you running on? I will try to recreate your issue and fix it. Are you getting a confirmation dialogue when you click "Reset"?

I also have this issue. I'm on Windows 10. When I click "Reset" it warns me that that this action can't be undone. Whatever choice I select causes me to return to my 1216 days old mine. But I need to reset to achieve some of the steam achievements.

You shouldn't need to reset to get any of the achievements, but if you still want to and if the reset doesn't work, you can try a workaround: uninstall the game and then delete "Goldmine" folders inside both:
1. C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\
2. C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\
At that point you should be able to install it again and it should be reset.

Thanks, that worked. And one of prestige achievements did unlock. So probably because I had already completed them before the achievements were added, it messed up something in the system,. But thanks again.
