This has been wished already a few times. Adding a configurable layout in Unity can be a pain. We know this is something the players wish for and we are keeping it in mind. :)

This isn't optimal, but you can use autohotkey to remap keys. I've used it for a lot of games as a work around

For example, changing the q key to act as if the 1 key is pressed.

The #IfWinActive line makes sure this only occurs when playing deadly days.

It isn't something I wish. It's something I NEED to play the game.
If it wasn't in a humble bundle i would already have refunded the game.

If you wish that I recommend the game to others, buy a DLC or extension if it is good, you have to make sure that I actually can play the game.

While I totally agree that a configurable keyboard layout should simply be a default option in every single PC game in existence by now... Is there actually a reason why you could not play such a simple game with the current layout? Or is it simply stupid fool rambling?

It's the same for me : I can't use the "1" key on my keyboard (Macbook pro); so I can't use special attack.. so I can't finish the first tutorial...

So if I understand well, you have a normal keyboard like the rest of us but for some reason pressing the key is not working? Or am I missing something?

Yes it's totally that; I have a macbook pro, and usually when I want to write "1", I have to keep pressing shift + 1; so It's my explication to this problem on Deadly days, even if I press shift + 1, nothing happens ..
