Ok, so, before I go crazy and I expend day restarting the game, is there any way to save Jennyver and Erik? I have restarted the game 4 times already, trying different combinations but nothing works. Are this two events scripted to happen and there is nothing we can do about that? I would love to know so I can carry on in peace and not restarting again and again, never advancing from chapter 3.

Indeed there's no way to change this... in the first chapters. I humbly suggest that you continue advancing and enjoy your first playthrough.

Yes, all the characters can indeed survive, but not by the most obvious way.
For some, like Erik, it might prove more difficult than most.

It should be clearer once you finish your first playthrough!

Well... I just finished my first playthrough... and I have no clue on how to save Erik lol.

And since this thread is open, is there a way of saving all in the same playthrough, or does it always go down to one person surviving?

I don't think we can save them all in the same game, but in my 5th game I succeed to save five of them, including Erik.
Just try to play few games chosing different answers for the questions and you'll finish by find a way to do what you're trying to. :D

I've only done 3 playthroughs, and I managed to save Erik and Jennyver but only on the second cycle, if that counts.

Yeah, I managed to saved them on Duncan's route, at the cost of Duncan's life... so, oh well, we will see. It looks like this game will not have happy endings and all are either depressing or bittersweet lmao.

Bittersweet? From our perspective, maybe. On Rowan's nah, she has some happy endings ^^

I also managed to save Jennyver and Erik without even trying. It seems that the harder I try to save someone the more likely they are to die. Is that the takeaway?
