This has really been a waste of my money. I had high hopes as volleyball fan, player and referee, but was let down by a long shot.

Pros:
- They managed to model a volleyball ball and a stadium.
- They have flags
- They did mention you need a controller.
- It started.

Cons:
- Terrible controls, you porably could get used to it but you need a hell of a lot patience
- No immersion
- Animations are terrible, not smooth
- Camera movement is just as 'smooth' (Notice the sarcasm)
- Players can give perfect sets/passes by airbending, its like my team is full of avatars. They aren't even touching the ball but still manage to 'pass'.
- Blocking is apparently done well away from the net and often ends up at your own feet (if you hit a block at all)
- Insanely weird attacks are possible.
- Its France - Brasil for example, yet they still refer a scoring team as 'Team 1'.
- Sometimes stuff happens but the players break, so no animations are played what so ever.
- Too much to list really.

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Too much to fix so 'investing' is probably a bad thing to do.

Pretty sure they spent the entire budget modelling stadiums, because other than that they cannot have spent more than a month on this game.

Blocking is completely broken, about 80% of the time the ball rolls under the block because they block like 5 feet off the net.

No real players, not even fake players that are made to resemble the real ones (like a really tall middle on Russia or France having the best libero)

Literally every set is a SUPER high, slow, floaty ball, even the middle ones.

Most of your sets will be diving one handed sets. It doesn't matter though, because they seem to be more effective than the real thing.

No clear way to improve your roster in career mode.

Not once have i seen the ball connect with the player's hand, usually its either the elbow or a few feet above their head.

Game would be a decent buy at <$10 if they fixed the tempo and jankiness, but other than that I would avoid.

Pros:
- Best indoor volleyball game I've played
- Good sound editing creates real feeling of impact
- Reasonably easy to master controls
- Huge amount of potential
- The only indoor volleyball game on Steam
- Career mode allows you to make a team
- Fun once in a while

Cons:
- Worst indoor volleyball game I've played
- Very buggy
- Animations don't line up more than half the time
- UI feels generic and uninspired
- Feels unfinished
- Regular price far too high for what this is
- Lacks real challenge

Bought on sale for $18, and it still feels like I paid too much, but it's the only indoor vball game available so...

I nearly want to recomand this game for being so incredibly bugged that it became funny.
Sadly it is not an alpha (or even something coming before an alpha).
Otherwise if you want :
- to laugh with friends,
- see phantom spike (player hitting the ball while starting to jump)
- see the ball falling between players
- having blocker jumping 1m from the net
- being able to a pass while jumping backward from the other side of the net (or even a pass made by a ghost)
It will be your game !

For anyone wanting to actually play a game either wait or go back to BEACH SPIKER VITUA Beach Volleyball it's from 2001 but physics are better and graphisme are only slightly worst, that should tell you everything .

As someone who loves volleyball, I fell in love with this game the moment I played it. Yes, it may be buggy, but that can be fixed as time goes on. Kudos to everyone who's working on this game!

Love the effort to make a good volleyball game. Only reason why I decided to buy this game is to help support it to make it better. Please do what you can to make this game better. There's so much potential with this game and it's just a matter of getting everything right to make it a big hit.

Dear God what a mess this game is. Even on sale it feels like a total rip off. Imagine a volley ball game where the opposing team bumps or sets the ball behind the scoreboard at the top of the screen and that is the last you see of the ball until it suddenly drops just over the net at your players feet. I would estimate a full third of points won by the opponent happen in this way. Add in the problems everyone else has outlined and you get the picture. Steam desperately needs a good volley ball game, this is NOT it.

If you are looking for a simple indoor Volleyball game then this game is for you.

For an indoor volleyball game this is pretty good, since most of the games released before this game were mostly beach orientated games. The best I have ever played is the Women's Volleyball Championship / FIVB Volleyball World Cup: Venus Evolution on the old PS 2 system.

This game mostly follows the standard FIVB rules, tactics and game-play. At first it does take time to get used to the controls but once you have you will have a ball... excuse pun. You can change the formation of the team play, rotation, number of sets, scoring cap, etc.

Of course the names of the players are not the actual names of the real players in the FIVB circle, I am sure it's due to licensing issues.

I will be honest, there are some flaws with this game that does make some users/players a bit frustrated. The graphics are OKish, collision detection needs some work especially when spiking and blocking. The textures for the different countries needs some work - they all look the same hehe. And finally a way to do a rotation change without a timeout is needed.

If you can look past these minor flaws, this game is worth playing.

My experience with this game:
Starts up game
Game doesn't recognize my working controller
Game is not playable with keyboard so I can't even get to the main menu
Shuts down game and tries again for 3 times after searching for another solution (there is none)
Asks for a refund cause I can't even take a look at the main menu

10/10 gaming experience right there
