+Motion capture better than previous volleyball games
+Volleyball games are rare

-Awfull hitboxes, ball collision when hitting the ball for a spike are completely unrealistic.
-Speed of the game is too slow, 1.30 speed increase is way more like actual volley ball.
-Setters are garbage, every set other than for middleblocker are only highball, and way too much inside the court.
-With this poor quality overall, price is crazy.
-No real names for national players.

I've picked up the console version - As a non-volleyball expert I actually like the flow of the game (as a game rather than a simulation of volleyball) and enjoyed my first hour. However, whilst I can't comment on its accuracy per se, it definitely has other problems (at least on XB)...

Replays are completely bugged and distracting with player hands being miles away from the ball (this may be the case during the game too but its far less noticeable mid game than when replayed close up and in slow motion).

Once you've started a career, you can delete it but when you start a new one, you can't change your country or uniform.

Some of the animations / general performance in cut scenes are very dodgy / stuttery


Definitely not worth full price.

As I played more at my friend's house, I can add more info :

Almost impossible to save a ball after it touche the net or the block , even when a player is right on the exact place to save it.
Cpu is too strong in defense, the only way to score is to aim for area completely unrealistic in real volleyball (middle of court at full power)
things like short cross or deep powerfull attack almost never work.
block system is the worst thing ever, even against high balls, players are so slow to react that you have to anticipate and not read the set.
reception timing is ok, and choice to give the ball to an attacker is classic but smart. however its not working all the time.
'pipe' attacks are so slow and not powerfull its a shame.
Blocker are 1meter higher than the spiker, making replay a joke.
blocker are 1 meter away from the net, national teams don't block like that.
tactic choice are almost all the same, absolutely no special combo like 'in and out' or 'cross' that would be something great to add.
players not responding or stuck in T position sometimes.
player not moving under the ball to perform their move, so the ball seem to fall on the floor, but is magically saved by a ghost and go on.
player warping on the ball in reception when they were too far away.

This is a massive list of problems/bugs, so I doubt it will be ever fixed. releasing a game at this state is suicide. even an alpha is cleaner than this at 40$.
