Trying to 100% but weasand of cados duke sidequest

I finished the boss in weasand, went to oasis did somethings...realized it said backtrack on the guide to the middle of weasand. But after the boss you cannot backtrack. Guide said this after the boss.

Proceed a little bit further to the story then come back later. I honestly dnt know which guide you are following. Duke Sidequest can be "missable" but if you reached this point then leaving Weasand of Cados and then re-enter the dungeon and go to the point where the Aer-Krene is to find Duke again. If you already triggered the scene then the next part of this Sidequest is much later in the story when you have Baul.

So you mean come back through the front of the dungeon? Using the guide on neoseeker. Thanks alot!

To make it sure: Are you at the point where you can enter Mantaic for the first time? If yes thats the point where you "can" re-enter the dungeon again and then go to the Aer-Krene. If it doesnt trigger or you cant re-enter the dungeon then proceed the story until you reach Yormgen and you have to return to Nordopolica anyway for story purposes.

If it still doesnt trigger then you missed a scene with Duke before. Normally it cant be miss so easily. Unless you never started the sidequest.

Yes I went into mantiac. But the guide said to backtrack before entering mantiac, so did i screw myself? When I go back its just where I was after the boss fight. I watched a video and all they showed was the room before but no explanation how to get there. Anyway the room after the boss is just a big open room with a collapse on the side left tunnel. Can go up out to mantiac but thats it.

So no idea why. I definitely did speak with the duke at nordopolica. I have a backup save incase this all doesnt work but that would be I have to do the entire coliseum over and also weasand. Not a huge deal but still.

So either me going into mantaic screwed me up or im missing the way to backtrack? awfully confusing. Thanks much for the help. Ill throw you some awards :D

OH BOY, alright well all I had to do was go right. I swear I tried it..but it looked like a wall. Totally missed the pathway backwards.

So sorry for being a dingus.

Yeah the pathway is a bit hidden :D But at least you found the pathway.
