i say pc cuz i heard the switch has a crash bug so check if it's patched before you buy it on switch, if it's not? get it on pc

its also on ps4 which bothers me because of the blocked scenes makes it offputting to stream from a ps4, so ill have to go with pc aswel

Tough call, imo PC cause of faster loading and a stable 60 (or 144 fps) the switch drops frames in combat and in this game that's kinda a problem. That and this game feels awkward af on mobile on the switch lol the controller for the switch is a problem. If your using the switch pro controller tho then that won't be a issue but then ur not using that mobile so pc is better for that use case anyways. If you play games on easy difficulty I'd so get the switch version cause the wonky controls won't matter but if you play games on hard and higher then pc all the way for stable frames + better controls.

I played through the whole game on my switch in mobile mode without any issues aside from the occasional joycon drift and I played on the highest difficulty setting. Gattuso was the only fight that I had trouble with but everyone has trouble with that fight the first time through.

Switch for relax grinding. RPGs now a days are best played on the Switch for me personally.

I've beaten the game on Switch with no crashes or issues, and I beat it the week after release, so I can at least confirm that those crash issues were non existent for me (if memory serves, you had to do something very specific to trigger that bug, so even if it still exists, it's easily avoidable).

That being said, as much as I love this game, a bit of extra graphics polish wouldn't hurt in some areas. Performance wise it ran perfectly even in handheld.

So I'd say it boils down to what the OP's preference is - portability or a bit of extra graphics/mod support.

RGP type of games feel better to play on the go or in short session on switch than PC I have both switch and PC version (completed the game on switch and plan to replay on PC later) didn't encounter any crash of bug on switch version

Seeing as we're in a pandemic, meaning you have more than plenty enough time staying at home to finish the game... PC.

Otherwise you could go for the Switch version if you're the type to play games on the go. (tho you do lose that 60+ FPS...)

the switch has incredibly bad frame rates and resolutions therefore i can never recommend it at any capacity unless you are some kinda person who hates themself.
