https://ameblo.jp/koulinovesperia/entry-10347292825.html this is a good spoiler free walkthrough that does all sidequests and has the PS3/Def added stuff

Thank you so much! I will use this on my ng+ and hope i can get all the achievements :)

Edit: looks like just a guide for the sidequests.

its NOT spoiler free, it does have major spoiler if ou scroll too far down (and it comes out of nowhere too).

It also lists towns you need to revisit in random order, so read the whole list or you will end up going back and forrth for no reason when you could do them in one visit. Also there are few side quests listed early but you can do them later(when you are free to explore and not railroaded to next story objective) that saves tons of backtracking or stress over if you permanently missed some side quest.

It's more a list, of the earliest times you can activate/continue side quests.

And spoiler free means, that it doesn't show the content of side sidequests. You know where it is, and what you're getting, but not the story behind it.

Plus any type of walkthrough will ahve spoilers if you scroll past the section you're actually in.

It's definetely not 100%, as it does not list cooking, the 100% treasure chests, boss secrets etc. I haven't really found a comprehensive guide for that so I'm using mixes.

Well like there are 50 xbox achievements and 53 PS3/PC They added 2 secret missions and one for spiral draco (second secret dungeon) you should already be magic lenesing on Everything making sure you have it, PS3 Version has it so im p.sure there are no missable synths unlike the 360. Where you used to only be able to pick certain paths on very few weapons.
Besides skits which can be done on NG+ and Save points(there are lots of missable save points you need to touch) not much is actually different.
Anyway if you want a 100% trophy guide https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/tales-of-vesperia/173705-tales-vesperia-trophy-guide-road-map.html Since the this is just a remaster of the PS3 Version.

I'd recommend this one: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/241054-tales-of-vesperia-definitive-edition/faqs/76752

Always go there for Walkthroughs and it never (as far as I can remember) failed me.

Yeah the one Meng Hao posted is great. Recommending that one as well.

Kouli's guide is events only so you will miss stuff if that's the only guide you're using. Some of things it doesn't cover are:

  • Secret Missions - Though only one of these is now missable.
  • Monster Scans - No mention of one time enemies or enemies that require multiple scans.
  • Items - Only covers items obtained through events such as Judith's missable spear.
  • Titles - Again, the guide only covers titles obtained through events but not stuff like "Item Hater" that you get for not using any items in combat until after defeating a certain boss which in turn prohibits you from completing the Monster Book on that playthrough.
  • Save Points - Not sure if any of this are actually missable but there is an achievement for using them all and no way to track them in game.
  • Dog Map - Another one you can't really miss but something that would benefit from a checklist.

There are almost certainly things I haven't covered but those are the ones that come to mind.

Basically if you want to minimise the time needed/spent backtracking you need to be using a full walkthrough that lists all new items/enemies for every new area you enter.

Meng Hao, that guide looks really good, I will probably use that one. Do you know if its complete ( as in, I could use it as a 100% achievement guide on my next playthrough and only miss the speedrun/low level achievements?)
From my understanding Flash-Step it is pretty much 100% as I've used it myself. It does list all the side quests in order and it tries to be as spoiler free as it can be. It warns you when you are getting into part 2 and what you need to have done BEFORE you start part 2 also. So its pretty good for that stuff.

Greetings. Can someone provide direct link to that guide?

I believe the only way to access it now is via the wayback machine, https://web.archive.org/web/20190604080615/https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/241054-tales-of-vesperia-definitive-edition/faqs/76752

The user no longer exists on GameFAQ's. If anyone can archive his entire guide for us that would be great.
