Would you rather get the PC or Switch version?

So here I am a fan of Tales of Vesperia. Played the original to death, and am very excited that we're getting the japanese version translated and everything. With only 1 dilemma... What version do I get, PC or Switch?

I'm just not going to entertain the ps4 or xbox1 as why go console when you can have pc? However the switch is a little different because of it's portability, and considering the xbox360 was able to run the game before the switch will probably not have any problems either. Sure handheld will be 720p, but playing it on the go is worth a drop in resolution in my eyes.

However with the PC version if there are any issues it's more likely that someone will make a mod to solve something or uncap the framerate (assuming speed of the game isn't linked to framerate or something like that).

My thought is, buy it on switch now and then wait for a steam sale or something to get it on pc. What do you guys think though?

There's no good answer. I would say yeah, go for the Switch version then buy it on PC when on sales if you're OK with that.

I'll be getting the PC version but if you have a Switch then buying on switch and then pc later doesnt sound like a bad idea at all

You'd need to ask yourself what is your practical priority? Playing on the go whenever wherever or having the time and luxury to sit down at home and play at your own leisure.

I'd prefer the Switch version, myself. Yeah, a constant 60 everywhere is good, but it runs at 60 where it matters (the battles) either way, and the Switch port is portable.

If it's about Co-op then isn't the switch a bit easier to do co-op than the pc? You can put the tablet on the T.V. relatively easily or sit in on a table anywhere. unless you got a steam link however unless the pc is already plugged into the TV as a monitor you got to lug it the the TV and then plug it in.
