From my understanding you just gotta set Raven as lead character when you run around, and after you go through the whole thing, you get a scene, right?

Well I've run through the whole place, got the last two fell arms and picked up all the chests, but I haven't got that scene to trigger yet...

Zaude? Yeah I already went to that waterfall room after beaing Gauche and Droit (left and right? lol).

Nothing happened. Was there a step before hand that's supposed to clue me in to Zaude being the portal point?

Ah such is a Tales game. Lots of hidden goodies.
Not sure. There was a skit that mentions the Navel of the world. But you need both halves of the Maris Stella first. Not sure If I can help more, but the Alexei fight room is the entrance. There should be a formula on the ground that you check for a cutscene that opens it up.

You need to go into Estelle' Room in the castle first for a cutscene then go to Zaude last room.

The ex dungeon is 6 layers and 10 floors each with a boss at the end of each layer.
Flynn's weapon is on the 1st layer 8th floor and Patty's weapon is some level on the 2nd layer (forgot). Make sure you use a map because some floor have multiple exits which allow you to skip floors. Once you skip past a floor you can't back track so you have to restart again from the top.
Last layer is special, just make sure you use a map.

Also if your going for the achievement "The back up plan" there are a total of 25 saves.
Each layer has saves at the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and boss floors. Theres also one more in the underground city.

That helps. I've been making every single save point thus far, and so I've yet to miss one. (I know some are temporary depending on what part of the story you're in, I got those too.)

As for Estelle's room, thanks. That feels a little random, but as I said before, that's a Tales game for ya. The length of the EX dungeon doesn't concern me too much though. I'll be going through all of it regardless. Gotta get the monster scans as well :D

You can't do layers 3-10 until you beat the final boss.

I'm assuming Telescopic Graveyard is a translation from the Japanese release as the dungeon is actually called the Necropolis is Nostalgia in this release.

Initially you can only access the first two layers which is enough to collect the Fell Arms, the rest will open up in the post game after loading your clear game save.

For the scans it's well worth taking Repede with the skill that allows him to scan all enemies with a single lens as simio to the Coliseum you get stuck in a chain of fights without the chance to restock. You can leave between floors but if you leave before completing a layer you'll need to restart that layer.

Really? I'm on Firmament 4F right now, no fell arms. This place is probably bigger than it looks, isn't it? :P

There are six layers and each layer has ten floors. The layers are the named sections, the floors are the combat zones. As was mentioned in another comment some of the floors have multiple exits that allow you to skip some floors.

Turns out second level floor 10 is the last boss pre-Duke.

Found a guide on it.

OOF.

big. fat. ugly. oof.

So you need all those weapons for the weapon achievement right? As well as monster scans for getting every monster? and the save points? The game really expects you to go through 60 floors of that? A lot of those enemies are insane, and on a much higher level than me. I'm barely level 80 LMAO.

There's a reason you can't access it till so late in the game and that even then most of it is locked off. It is possible to get through in post game but I believe the intention is to do it as part of NG+.

Probably at level 200, too.

If you have grade dice, and Patty's Critical moment skill. It's a good place for grinding grade and gald.
Critical Moment can give you x2 or x10 gald. Made 270k in one battle in the place.

So if you go in intending to grind, then it's a good place for it.

If you're going to farm Grade there it's probably best sticking with a non-elemental weapon so you aren't having to change gear every fight to avoid being penalisd for attacking with a resistant element as that can put a massive dent in your earnings.
Knightmage Bael Jan 26, 2019 @ 3:48am
Got the last fell arm. Whee.

Yeah I've got some nice grade there. I'm gonna go check my grade level at the isle later, do some grade farming, finish hisca's quest, and then probably beat Duke. I know you need 15k grade for everything. I was at 7k like 30 in game hours ago (without really trying), I have no idea what its at now.

Luckily I have like 3 blue dice now. I can exploit Rita's trick nicely since I have all the required skills for it.
