Radiant Winged One isnt realistic to beat on easy with lvl 98 isnt it?
He just almost oneshots everyone and keeps chasing after Estelle like 99% of time, so she is under pressure and cannot heal/remove negative status, cause she keeps running away from him. I played ToV on x360 a while ago through, he wasnt a problem at all there, not even with lvl 80 or so.
So whats the trick here on ps3 port of this mess?

His PATK & HP stats are 1218 and over 450k HP on EASY.
What changed? What is going on?

They gave him a huge boost in attack compared to the 360 version. I personally don't use estelle. I find Karol and Patty to be better healers.

It's been a few years since I played the PS3 version, but I'm getting close to the end now. I've been playing on hard since the start.

I'd go through your party's skills and equip them well for the battle, Repede is your item user if you have all his item related skills, Multi-item is pretty useful which can be found in one of the EX dungeons.
Make sure Patty is in critical or brainiac form, disable her form arte and have her spam her arcane spell. Assuming you're using Yuri, have his combo skills and equip him with the krona's symbol if you have it, otherwise one of the other 3 status defence items of your choice. Yuri can reach OVL 4 from getting his combo to 96 if you have the 4th skill, otherwise use one when you reach level 3. Concentrate skill helps too.

This is roughly what i'll be doing, but I don't know your play style so my advice could be void

Hi, I see, I play quite differently, call it something like "Stunlock-3 Melee protect the princess" style. Basically we gang up on any boss and corner it(Yuri, Flynn (for his crazy spammables/keeping the enemies in staggering), Judy, just because she can basically get any flying ♥♥♥♥♥ down to the ground)), most of the time it cannot act, you can do what ever meanwhile. (very dirty style i know). But RWO is different. He teleports, so my whole style is basically for nothing since he gets to Estelle easily in seconds.
You think Tidal Wave spam would help? I only want to unlock the weapons, wouldnt else try even on easy just to make it quick unlock.
The Patty system I didnt quite understand, after I heard that she has some heavy RNG BS going on, so I didnt bother much learning her and leveling anything. Repede has gotten quite a skillset, but not sure if its enough. Multi Item he doesnt have yet.
Im kinda stuck in x360 playstyle, Flynn I took in party cause he reminds me so much of Lloyd, he is fast, simple and a good front line aggressive fighter.

How would you rate Karols and Ravens Heals in terms of prioritizing healing over fighting?
(Estelle is always healing in my party, basically casts non-stop)

Ah very different! I find it near impossible to get yuri's combo high enough to get free OVL's when others are in his way.
You've kicked yourself in the foot by neglecting Patty as she can get a random chance to cast marvelous fountain which heals everyone 50% HP and TP, and can cast revive, not to mention at half the casting time.

Karol is good at fully healing anyone with nice curing smash and he has the recovery smash for the status effects, and if he's meleeing with you and one other then he can fully heal 3 in one use of his curing smash. Raven's love shot heals 15% each arrow and his AoE spells can do a decent amount of hits to help stun-lock. If the boss get knocked down you'll have to free-run attack him to force him to stand so you can continue the combo.

Rita's tidel wave I haven't really used much aside from grade farming, if you have the necklace from the arena you might be able to get her to quickly cast it, but i don't see the boss getting staggered from it as it doesn't hit fast enough. Gold cat might help with the fast hits though if i recall, not much damage.

In my opinion, the only good thing about estelle is she can use revive freely, nightingale is great to spam, but since you can only have 1 accessory, you have to choose between faster casting, or infinite TP with the spirit symbol.

Flynn is both a support and offensive character, some of his skills help with allies nearby passively, EG: faster cast time if they are near flynn, i think there's a skill he has that cures status effects if they are near flynn too. Flynn isn't as fast as yuri when it comes to combos though.

I remember beating him on unknown difficulty at level 130 ish, he was still able to one shot combo me he was doing about 1500-2000 damage per attack.

did it level 71 on hard on ps3, just get better at the game and use proper equipment. I highly recommend getting final symbols for the party and krona symbol (kowz side quest). Regeneration is really good in this game.

I know Im not that good at this game yet, but im not bad, as I said was playing it on x360 for over 200h + with most tricks and stuff possible, but RWO was NEVER such a bad S. Honestly I think he on easy on ps3/DE is like him on Unknown on x360.
You beating him on Unknown 130ish okay..thats pretty heavy.
I was doing around 1100-1300 dmg to him. And he like 300-900 per hit, combo is higher, closer to the end it gotten 500-1100. So even on easy badass. Ofcourse without Fell Arms.
Most of the time he had a shield which had to be broken with a higher combo (Win win here if OL is available for BA). But the point here is how much DMG you take from him. For me its like one combo and I am already dropped from 7k HP to 3k HP, sometimes if he crits even 500 or so.

Well also his combos aren't easily avoided, lets see it from this perspective.
The chance even with the accesoire that he applies a status aliment is pretty high, so thats not good either.
When he gets you once, its over, the combo he does is not blockable anymore. You stagger even with proper skills enabled. Thats RWO for you. A total mess this fight for sure.
The most weird thing I noticed is that they actually not just buffed his ATK and HP, they also buffed the OL rate significantly. He managed to pull out

But Ive just beat him. The weird way. Yuri only. Karol, Raven and Estelle heals. Karol set to Cure, Estelle and Raven to Heal. Basically 400k + 100k (Brave Vesperia) alone as Yuri. Was a 17 minutes fight. My hands gonna fall off.
Item were.. almost all used up, literally 2 Miracle Gels left.
When he had 38k HP left, he went straight for healing mode, means now pushing combos on him not letting him heal. When he still manages to cast healing circle, surround him so he walks out of it instantly. I only hopes he wont do BV Mystic again ( Heard that it can happen that he does it more than once)

But I found also another interesting way, Divide all combined with 3 Aggresive Type fighters with high damage output without combos. This way noone dies, the fight is long but never dangerous. Problem here is TP and due to extended fight time Itemlimit. So a proper Strategy has to be set and Item usage kept mostly on manual.

One thing I noticed (and I dont remember if it was in x360 this way too), that Yuri cannot have Backstep skill (I dont have yet still found equip which teaches me it, and Item Thrower).

I remember one of the tales series had backstep on MC, back in x360 times, but I might be confusing that ToV never had MC with backstep?

What Symbol? You mean the one activates during OL?

Thanks all for advices, but really, ToV is my fav Tales of series besides ToS, and I was pretty good at it i thought, I might just have gotten rusty after like 7 years.

Also thanks for that clarification. Ill look into her. And yes, Flynn isnt faster, but he manages to stunlock and keep the bosses in corner pretty well compared to Judy/Raven.
But yep, Ill go with testing out now. Finally Fell Arms active, means more time into experimenting now.

Ah I see. Rebirth is only on Yuri active atm. But I see what you mean, would probably help alot after Big Bang too for others.. im a dumb S.
Final Symbol I have 1, will look into it to get more, I dont remember using it back days, or had a bad experience with it, not sure. But will definitely try new things out, stuff from 7-8 years ago doesnt matter anymore anyways, since we all were very different back days. Right, ty! :)

Wut and here I think everything is easier beaten him today on first playthru in like 4-5min on hard mode with lvl 74 party 3forms. Zooming thru unknown mode atm(Not using fell arms on bosses because they melt them). Maybe try to organize Your skills better. And try to get better remember You can use other analog stick to assign spells artes for teammates. I basically locked him in combo each time He couldnt do anything. He poped OL?Np I spam with analog stick on my Yuri Force Barrier. Invincible. Hope he's tuffer on unknown can't wait x) I got save point and can stream for You fight on hard mode lol to show how easy it is when You play properly. Just try to figure what You're doing wrong.

If all else fails, put Risky/Emerald/Faerie Ring on Repede, play as him and use Gale Dog every 5 seconds while the rest cast spells or do nothing.
Rofl mode for every fight in the game except the Yuri solo fights!

I beat him at around 100 on Normal so it will definitely be doable on Easy.
