Can't get Chips in Nan Cobanda

okay this is a bit weird for me.

I went into the gymnasium on Nan Cobanda isle, and when I talk to the NPC to trade gald for chips, I get the thing come up. Apparenly I have to push left button 1 to let me change the values which is weird enough, but then when I push confirm or anything else, it cancels the transaciton.

I'm having the same problem. I can press LB to adjust the amount of chips but can't confirm.

I was able to work around this by switching to mouse and keyboard in the options then trying to buy chips with enter. It still took a few attempts but eventually it went through, though it also went through 3 times.

I'd rather not have to swap inputs every time I buy chips.

Edit: I figured it out, it's the control remapping bug.

I reset my controls to default and I was able to purchase chips without issue.
