Easy Anti-Cheat causing a crash

Anyone else having an issue after the new year where EAC attempts to start for this game, then bricks your machine forcing it to restart?

I sent you a request because I read in another discussion of the community that you were saying other people were playing because they agreed to disscord. I would like to ask if it is possible from time to time to play with you that I with my cousin rarely had the possibility of playing online, since most of the people who play or played this are by play station.

I am having an issue similar at least. Game starts just fine. I get to the mission right after the tutorial and then the game freezes my whole computer forcing a hard restart. (for reference I have a 1650 Super, 16 gigs ddr4 of ram, i7-6700k so I should not be having issues from that, hell I even turned the settings down and watched my core temps which were about 75 at the time of the crash 5 under where i should start to worry and 25 under my max) However, I have been googling this for the past hour and I still can't find anyone who has any solutions. Though I did see someone mentioning that since the frame rate was uncapped it was running their GPU really hard. Anyways, if you find a fix please let me know. I will keep messing around and looking to see if I find one myself.

Did you ever get this resolved? im Having a similar issue; i start up NGB and it loads the game up until the main screen, then my pc just shuts down..
