Mods please? Or add ons/conversions?
Hello, given what the game is great and all but here is my question,

When can we start to get mods and or game conversions of the previous Gundam games ported through and made playable through the New Gundam Breaker engine?

I really hope the resources are made avaible and used as this game has no good campaign nor multiplayer... So if someone did make mods or etc... for us to use in this game it would be great.

Please tell me this game allows for such a thing or a mod could be made for it like other games on here have had such great mods.

Never ever, with Denuvo and EAC in. The game hasn't even had anyone bothering to crack it yet, and Bamco hates mods, so even assuming there's anyone with the interest and talent, it's not likely they'll get anywhere.

Unfortunately thanks to the hate train and gundam games being niche in the west in the first place there just is not enough interest in this game for any extensive modding to take off.
You can probably unpack game's files and edit textures and what not, but given how game lets you paint anything anyway there is no much point in that.
And to make advanced gameplay mod, you need some experienced people, where the lack of interest strikes, as modders would rather pay attention to popular and mainstream games.

Please don't blindly blame people pointing out this game's massive, massive flaws on Steam's forums as being the cause of the lack of interest when there was already a version that flopped six months before it even came out on PC.

I'm not too familiar with UE, especially not with 4, but it's fairly safe to assume that the assets are heavily encrypted, especially the meaningful ones.

I would like to point out that Dragonballs XV2 has both denuvo and easy anti cheat and is made in UE4 and still has a lot of mods and you can still use mods in offline play. And it's also published by bamco.
So yeah, as far as technicalities I'm fairly certain this game can be modded.

This

You can actually play the game with EAC off by deleteing the same files you would for Xenoverse 2 but the game breaks pretty hard on the 2nd time you start it up. I think if someone tried they could get the game running though.

Dragonball Xenoverse 2 is also a good game that has a community that cares about it and the franchise it's built around.
Besides that, it doesn't have Denuvo what the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about.

Apparently I should correct myself and say that DBXV2 doesn't have denuvo. I thought it did, but I can't find any evidence of that.
That being said MGS5 and Nier Automata - games that both have denuvo and pretty extensive mods, so my point stands.
With enough interest this game could have been modded.

Nier Automata has model swaps and trainers.
MGSV has flag toggles and enemy spawns to juryrig missions together.
Neither of those are anything I'd call extensive, and both are much better games that actually succeeded.
There's no chance of this getting anything worth calling a mod, especially when it holds hands with the prestigious ranks of Metal Gear Survive, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Life is Strange 2.

Do you have a single fact to back that up?

Fingers crossed all we can do is pray and hope :)

The only support I’d expect for this game would be official support via releasing new gunpla. No word on when that will happen but that’s something Bandai NAMCO actually promised.
Smoth Nov 8, 2018 @ 8:26am
The game does not presenttly support modification.

It's never going to support mods. This game is such a trashfire no one is going to crack it either. You may not have paid attention, like everyone else here sans a few people. But most of us die hard fans of the series watched this thing become a trainwreck before it was released on steam. Fun fact, originally this was going to release at the same time as the PS4 version, but was delayed for no real reason.

Cue the PS4 release, it bombs hard, so much so it ends up 80% off in it's first week of being on the shelves, more 1 star reviews on it than Hillary Clinton's book of excuses on why she lost the election. AND to top it off suits that had been in the base game of GB3 and prior missing from this game at launch, needing to be patched in (GB3 had 150 suits at launch, NGB had what? 100 or so?)

Putting this game on steam was BANNAM's attempt to try and milk money from something, especially if you consider how inept most of the western market is I wouldn't put it past them banking on the sheer idiocy of people who have never imported and wait for "english dubs"
