Using gunpla such as guntank?
I noticed in previous games if you used a gunpla that had no actual weapon, you can use their arms to shoot from because they basically are their guns. As far as i can tell, i cant shoot with guntank unless i equip him with a beam rifle or something, which he stupidly holds in his gun hand which is just ridiculous. Is there an option i am missing where i can just use guntank withought using parts of other gunpla? Is this the same way for similar gunpla like bearguy and zeong?

yep, that's the many of fatal drawbacks this game have. pretty much it become your EX instead of using it normally, and no there's no option to make it work as normal weapon.

I see, i was afraid that was the case but i was hoping it wasnt. I guess i can still use guncannon.

In addition to Chomumaru's post, unarmed melee attacks still exist and you can use whatever default style those arms come with. E.G. Shining Gundam arms will have a melee attack style, Z'Gok arms will use claw swipes...

Thats at least good, but if i accidentally pick up another part and it auto equips it, how to i revert back to my origional parts in a match? Is awakening the only way to do it?

And one more question, where does it show the hp of yours individual parts in a battle? I thought it was those white vertical lines to the right of them but those just look like the 3 skills you have highlighted, i see no indication of health and my parts just break withought warning

I think so, save for losing the melee weapon again.

The game will auto equip anything you're missing parts-wise, if you run over a loose part and happen to be missing your arms for example.

I don't think anybody's figured out exactly how part HP works or is even calculated.

Thank you, and that shows the hp of what you are carrying but how do you see the hp of the parts you have equipped that you start with?
