Your light should flicker, meaning they've gone away. Audio lures also help.

Glory to Arstotzka
i actually foudn strategy which is way easier atleast for me to do especialy when you want black listed ending whne there is 2 and more animatronics there is simply no time to scan and lure everyone everywhere so what i did was i upgraded my printer fully and i turned on silent ventylation then i just focus only on listening things i used normal ventylation every 3 - 5 sec from time to time and i never used both cpu and ventylation as for to know when they going away you suppose to look at vent and wait until you hear sound which indicates that (sadly audio cue are very bad in this game because they can stack with character voices) usually it takes 4-7 sec if you dont hear any noices from vent anymore that means they are not there anymore
