FNaF: Survival Logbook's details about FNaF 4 can change EVERYTHING!
So I bought the Survival Logbook recently, and just like Dawko showed us... Mike drew Nightmare Fredbear. But since Michael is the big brother, and doesn't really have as big of an imagination as his little brother... how did he know every exact detail of the Nightmare Animatronics? I think this drawing is confirming who we are really playing as in FNaF4. Michael Afton. Here's my evidence:

- The bite victim dies in the Night 6 ending; so, how do we come back for a seventh night, and see Nightmare, who is obviously a canon character, if we're already dead?

- And, just like MatPat mentioned from scientific fact, a bite across the brain would cause you to no longer feel distress or would even knock you into an unconsious coma if too much damage is done.

- In the FNaF4 jumpscare, we hear a younger child's scream just before the game goes bloody and ends, right?

Here's what I concluded:

We don't play as the bite victim, but specifically the big brother Michael Afton. Michael apologized to the bite victim at the end of Night 6 and watched his brother die in the hospital bed right in front of him. Therefore, I believe Nightmare is actually death himself, but only because Michael saw death take away someone he loves using an animatronic (symbolically, of course.) This also explains why Nightmare looks more like an endoskeleton, because Michael Afton's imagination made it that way due to the fact that Michael knows the culprit of the bite itself (not of "how it became possible" a.k.a how the child was put into Fredbear's mouth) is the animatronic's robotic parts that helped crush his brother's skull. And every time we get jumpscared, Michael is actually remembering (or in better terms, "reciting") the very scream his little brother had when he shoved him into the mouth of Fredbear.

And by the way, for those of you who wonder, "Then why does the screen go bloody and red when we get a game over?" Honestly, when I have nightmares, I envision that kind of effect in the darkness of my bedroom the second I try waking up, so it's not far from reality (when it comes to how it feels to awaken from a nightmare.)

Where is it at? I must've missed it...
The Logbook came out in December. And with it, we learnt that we play as Michael in FNaF4. So, this thread is kinda late.

Edit: I can't open youtube links until Easter Sunday (I gave up YouTube for Lent), so if it was posted there, I'll look at it later.

December? Last I heard it arrived in March...

Good point though. No one new to the fanbase will want to read this anyway; it's kind-of a major spoiler.

Talk to you guys later!

December ('cause I'm one of those who got it late (February), so I'm sure about that.)

Revealing the identity of a character is a spoiler?

If you know too much lore, the game gets spoiled a whole hell of a lot. Trust me, I'm bored with FNaF as a franchise right now as it is until UCN comes out, and I hadn't even beaten the games before I learned all the lore (still stuck on FNaF 1 4/20 and FNaF 2 10/20)

Think of FNaF lore theories like this...
Marvel's Avengers (comic book canon) is a story, right? If I hear someone explain the reason why a character did certain things at certain parts I didn't read yet, I just got spoiled of that exact event before I even read it.

It's been 4 months since the Logbook, and 3 years since FNaF4. At this point, it's not a spoiler anymore (Freddit wouldn't condemn it) . And if you get spoiled, then that's your own fault.

Sure, it is the person who gets spoiled's fault for listening to the spoiler, but I don't wanna be the guy who gives them spoiler information, if you know what I mean.

I personally already thought of this theory back when we only knew Michael Afton as Mike Schmidt. Needless to say, I called this back between when FNaF 4 came out, and when Halloween Update came out. It only took until the Logbook came out for it to be pretty much confirmed and for people to come to the realization (some people refuse to believe it, though).

Nice! I only joined this fanbase when Sister Location was in development, so, good for you.

I also happened to call the Puppet being Henry’s child (back when the Puppet was a “him”). I’m kinda surprised that anything I thought of turned out to be right considering there is also quite a bit that I got wrong (Purple Guy being Fritz Smith and FNaF 4 being the Bite of 87, for example).

FNaF4 being the Bite of '87 is almost as bad as Artifact.

If you’d told me that back in 2016, I’d have said otherwise.
