I don't really think Helpy is canon.

He's probably just a fun background character in FFPS and UCN, nothing more. Besides, who would or could make an animatronic that small?

helpy's just a mascot and a toy - it's not like william put the souls of the children inside it and built it off of destroyed animatronics' parts and it's the most important piece of the lore we all have missed.
i also feel like plushtrap is about twice as tall as helpy, and it could be that the fun with plushtrap section was a dream and non canon.

maybe henry made it has a camera to watch you and the animatronics in the game otherwise IDK its just my theory of what he is
