Why FNaF World Was A Good Game
Scott Cawthon created the game FNaF World, and uploaded it to Steam, only to take it down the next day, as fans were claiming it to be a poor quality game and saying that barely any effort was put into it. Scott continued to update the game and improve it until he eventually stopped with Update 2. The fanbase overall had mixed reactions about the game, some claiming it to be good, some claiming it to be bad. First of all, let's think about this.

Scott Cawthon wanted to make an RPG, but knowing it wouldn't sell well under his name alone, he themed it to Five Nights at Freddy's. He knew that thousands more people would buy the game if he made it FNaF related, and went with that. After all, Scott had attempted an RPG game before that didn't sell well. Scott wasn't exactly doing this for the money, though. He knew that several other people, especially younger audiences, wanted a more family friendly approach to the FNaF series. Using that knowledge and his desire to make an RPG game, he created FNaF World, which is known by the internet as a "bad game."

The gameplay itself can be kind of repetitive, admittedly. That's so with nearly every RPG, though. FNaF World took a unique twist on RPGs, almost merging every good RPG ever and FNaF-ifying it. However, the first version of the game was somewhat lazy. When Update 2 came around, the game improved tremendously over the original. One problem with the game is it didn't take itself seriously, and actually made jokes about itself.

Onto the actual good side of the game, each and every character has a different used whether it be healers, attackers, defenders, etc. The game was overall unique and had a good concept and good gameplay. The story was somewhat lacking, except for the mysterious Clock Ending, which really makes you ask a lot of questions. Sure, the game was rushed, but that doesn't make it a bad game. Scott was just trying to deliver to the fans by making a simple, short and fun RPG title, which for the most part was oriented towards kids, and then the internet got a hold of it. Several people, including myself, actually enjoyed the game. In Update 2, there were even new minigames like Foxy Fighters and FNaF 57: Freddy in Space, which were good enough minigames to have their own spinoffs! FNaF World wasn't a bad game, it was just a bit rushed and wasn't really given a chance.

This looks a lot shorter than when you're actually typing it.

Good way to put. I have noticed that on collab maps, other FNaF SFM animators always tell the participants in the collab that they can use any game for the part usually, but they always say to not use FNaF World. I have found FNaF World a game with a lot of interesting secrets, and it bugs me to see such avoidance of the game.

Five Nights at Freddy's World is a mostly good game, in my opinion, because a FNaF RPG seems like a pretty fresh concept.
Not only does the game have the surface layers of a standard RPG, but if you dig deep enough, you can get to the deeper layers such as &*___TWRE, FOXY.exe, and the Baby Ending.

I really liked it because it was not only a huge game and it wasn't very short like the other FNaF games which just have 40-ish minutes of gameplay.
