UCN Release Date...

You just had to mess with our brains to troll us with UCN's real release date.... Didn't ya?

As we all know, there is a 99.99% chance UCN isn't releasing August 8th, and rather about 2-3 weeks away, or a month away.

In case you for some reason still think August 8th, here is my undeniable evidence against you! :D
  • Beta-Testing doesn't take a month. It usually takes a week, 3 weeks at most.
  • Sc00t said the only bug there is was with Withered Chica getting through the vent even with the door closed, and Sc00t said he has fixed it.
  • Sc00t has confirmed UCN is complete and in a fully playable state, and just needs to test it now. And once again, he only found 1 bug that has already been fixed, meaning it is fully ready unless he finds another bug.
  • Just the way he worded "No May release for sure" sounds weird. It's almost like that one guy who was like "Oh, it will TOTALLY NOT go wrong!"
So... come one, come all! Place ya bets on when the all-mighty Sc00t shall release UCN!
My predicted dates:
May 28th (Memorial Day... and may or not be my bday :3)
June 26th (You should all know why this day.)

Beta can last as long as he thinks it needs, and we have seen games with beta-tests that lasted over a year. Even though he DID say he wouldn't fix the game if 50/20 mode is impossible, I think he still wants to ensure that all the challenges are functional.

So, for example, he would need to make sure all the coin animatronics are fair, even if you use all of them at once... Even if they were the only available animatronics. As well as making sure the difficulty scales appropriately from 1-20.

Or rather all the animatronics are working... But the "balance" of those animatronics needs tweeking. This is what is likely going to take the longest.

Scott has said he's fine with 50/20 being impossible, so he really doesn't need to balance anything.

If the coin animatronics needed balance, he would've said that they're a little op in his dev-log. That's not the case is it?

You do make good points, my friend...

From his 50/20 mode attempts, it seems the coin animatronics aren't that big of a problem, and rather Nightmarionne is, but that's only because it's 50/20 which is being made to be impossible. At 20, the Nightmarionne probably can't even be looked at for more than a second without getting killed by it. But when it's at the lowest AI, it'll be bearable and you can probably look at it for a few seconds before getting killed.

Sc00t has already said 50/20 will not be fixed and is purposefully unbalanced. There will be 25 other challenges with different animatronic combinations that will be mostly balanced. So I think the only "tweeking" that will happen is if an animatronic just isn't functioning properly.

I would have just assumed that everything needs to be tweeked and balanced... Because it is one thing to come up with how they function, it is another to see it in action. You know a given.

It was just an example for the most part because it would be easy to understand how they could create an issue if they were lined up (for example, if you couldn't get enough coins)... OR too many coins and they can be safely ignored.

Scott made all of the "original"(2, 3, 4)all in under a year. That was because it was basically just one night but repeated and with more characters attacking. 2 only took 2 months. That includes the minigames and cutscenes in them. Since UCN most likely won't have minigames or cutscenes, and is literally just one night with different modes, the only difference here is the sheer amount of characters. And again, if every single character needed balancing he wouldn't of died to just a few select animatronics multiple times according to his Dev log. So it's safe to say UCN won't take nearly as long as Scott is suggesting.

He wouldn't report them? Dude, he literally dedicated a section of his May 4th's update to the bug tests, and he only found one. And this is a dev-log, he would say if he was balancing characters.
