(Well strings is the main character, does he really count? and if you are counting only gameplay based animatronics, there are about 6-7, and if you count all animatronics, regardless of gameplay, there a 16, which is only about 3 more than FNAF 2 (counting easter egg animatronics like JJ and the Shadows))
