Why do so many people here seem to hate Freddit?

I know I am probably going to get hated for this, but I really dont get it. Sure, there is the occasinoal bad theory or toxic user, but this place has its fair share of, probably even more bad theories and spam/joke posts. Freddit is actually a pretty good place if you look past some of the crap in my opinion, just like here.

I've seen Matpat post there a total of one time, and come on, he isn't that bad, especially not bad enough to drive someone away from a forum.

From what I have experienced now, us being toxic to them has made this utter ♥♥♥♥ situation, vice versa. The fact that we can't grasp that Scott's moved along and this place wants to be #1 homebase yet houses really bad things as you mentioned above has dominantly made them better, apparently some of us are jealous of that.

I’m not a big fan of their theory community, but then again I’m not a fan of ours either. The theory community in general just seems pretty toxic. I don’t hate Freddit overall, mainly because I think they’re just as toxic as we can be sometimes. I can’t hate them without making myself look like a hypocrite for being in an honestly equally as toxic forum community. The more both sides stop feuding woth each other over Scott, the sooner we can get back to being a united fandom. Until then, it’s just toxic individuals going at each other and making both sides look bad in the process.

One of my friends posted a photoshopped Infinity War poster with the FNaF characters on Freddit, where it got spam-flagged. That's as far as my knowledge of it goes.

You can hate certain parts of Freddit without exaggerating to make Freddit as a whole seem bad, ya know.
