Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator

When did FNaF start getting overwhelmingly complicated?
Imo, the series made absolutely no sense after the fourth installment released. Even Scott claimed that everyone solved the story of FNaF when the first 3 games released and no one could figure out FNaF 4. And then the fifth installment, Sister Location came and now I can't keep up and stay on track of the story anymore because i'm too curious :(

I honestly prefer 87 to 83, it would have made FNAF 4 more satisfying as a game, and it would have actually answered a question instead of creating over 5 questions

Mhm, same. It's a bit sad, actually.
FNaF 4 I honestly am right there with you on not being able to keep up with the story anymore. I’ve come up with my own timeline to the best of my abilities, but obviously I can’t keep track of every last detail that could potentially prove me wrong. I honestly liked FNaF better when it’s hidden lore wasn’t so cryptic and hard to peice together.

Yeah. I don't think Scott is a bad storyteller or anything, but personally, 83 was the biggest mistake in FNAF lore

Yep. That and SL. The entire Sister Location made no sense to me. It just seemed like random shower thoughts bunched into one game. If Sister Location takes place before FNaF 1 (Which I'm most likely wrong, I can't remember the timeline,) why would they be like "oh hey we have awesome technology and animatronics! lets now scrap them and build terrible looking animatronics and call it freddy fazbear's!"

Standalone, SL is actually pretty great, but it's just ugh in the overall lore

SL is a good game, but not a good Five Nights at Freddy's game.

My thoughts 100%
Remove:
The 10 minute appearances of Foxy and Freddy

The one time Handunit mentions Freddy Fazbears Pizza

Change the graphics of the springlock night

The private room and custom night stuff

The one mention of Afton

And you pretty much have an unrelated game to FNAF

That would be better. I'm not even sure why it's considered a spinoff.

Way to copy my post word for word.

I also recall him saying "FNaF 3." before saying that.
Fnaf4 then SL made it even more and 6 even more. it's like a wild fire that just keeps spreading
Why is this an actual question? It's not like other franchises on everything with multiple sequels aren't the same way.

*cough* Half Life

Half-Life is not complicated! Only a very few things are unexplicated yet!

Then someone needs to tell these forums the definition of "complicated"

Complicated would mean there are so many things involved in the presented plot that it's hard to keep track of. "confusing" is a way better word because the plot is secret.
