the game takes place AFTER 3, is it physically impossible if it doesnt.
for one, its the last game IN the timeline, the game literally confirms this,
"I have to call them all back, together in one place"
"Not until I undo what he has done." -Henry
^ this LITERALLY confirms that hes bringing all of the remaining animatronics back into one place, so he could burn them, its obvious in the final cutscene.
Springtrap exists, therefor it NEEDS to be after 3, especially since William is inside of springtrap.
Yes, there is probably ♥♥♥♥ technology, but thats just game mechanics.
Keep in mind, in FNaF3 the phone makes a very modern cell phone ring that didn't exist in the Eighties, suggesting that game took place in more modern times or even the near future.
On the flip side, even today you could hook up an old Eighties or Nineties-era dot-matrix printer and computer and they'd still turn on and work. The Internet would be excruciatingly slow on dial-up, though.
TL;DR - Henry was broke and everything was going to burn anyway, so why go all out?
