How do I use the taser?

I'm trying to salvage the anamatronic on the first night, and I can't figure out how to use the taser. Clicking on the icon in the lower left does nothing, and the Z or X keys don't do anything either. Am I missing something?

Do you mean Baby because you can't with her. With Freddy it'll be in the bottom left and it's CTRL to shock.

It should have specified that.. I tried to click the shock icon but it did not work and now molten freddy is in my restaraunt.
