Does he have any relevance to the story's lore. Or is he just a random animatronic

Edit: Theres a lot of evidence pointing to him being a suit the puppet is using now.

He's actually the Purple Guy's soul after he went into springtrap and the place burned and springtrap got destroyed. He's got a HUGE role in the story.

But springtrap is actually present in the game. And its the purple man inside springtrap. He can't be lefty

Few things to say to that. Could not be the puppet (because scott has done things like this before. The fnaf theorists have wrongly jumped at reflections before and minute details that turned out to be wrong.) We see a part of the inside of his arm. It could not be the puppet.

And lefty attacks the player. As Henry has said, the puppet is not trying to kill the player. So why does Lefty attack then.

If there were more clues pointing to Lefty being the puppet, I would agree. But an image doesn't really prove anything.

henry never said that puppet wasnt trying to kill the player, simply that she wanted to protect innocent lives, michael (assuming from the fact he wanted closure and death for his family that he was the volunteer.) is hardly completely innocent for all we know.

Then why is the puppet working with Springtrap, Funtime freddy and baby. They are in the same vent system, running into each other. Hardly seems like something an innocent soul is trying to do.

But as I was saying. It was a minute detail in a picture. That doesn't prove anything. Scott hasn't left any clues to Lefty being the puppet. And no indication whatsoever.

Unless more clues are uncovered, I am dismissing the Lefty being the puppet theory. Because as of now, there isn't really enough evidence.

Remember, this is a community that was hyped up because they thought they saw a reflection of Springtrap in baby's nose. We have wrongly assumed details before.

How do you know this? We see a tiny piece of a striped arm. This could be the endoskeleton. This could be wires, this could be literally anything. And also, Lefty clearly moves like an animatronic. The puppet isn't an animatronic made of metal. Its a puppet. Could it really control a whole suit with the material its made of?

from how henry puts it their bloodlust has driven them insane... its likely none of them actually notice each other systems (or whats left of them) probably dismissing them all together since theyre animatronics. the puppet might however be a little aware but cant stop them... and whats the only thing not shown to burn in the fire? lefty. rather than talk about lefty henry jumps straight to the puppet and his daughter it failed to protect so gained her soul.

Meh, still don't think theres enough evidence atm, although you are making good points. I'm going to wait a few days for the fnaf 6 hype to die down so youtubers like matpat can make theory videos. I'm sure Lefty does fit into this somehow, but I'll leave it to theorists to explain exactly how he is.
