Brake Bias Question
Quick question about brake bias: should you lower the brake bias as the race goes on, example start at 60% and near the end of the race have it at 50% as the fuel load drops?
What's a good brake bias to start with at the beginning of the race and a good brake bias for qualifying on a near empty fuel tank (and near the end of a race)?

You need to test both, which of those techniques is better for you.

It depends on your driving style and how you set up your car in general. Low fuel load and high tyre wear can increase the chance of lock ups, but if you're able to prevent them with your driving style or your setup, then there's no benefit in reducing the brake bias, as it automatically reduces your overall braking power as well.

You also might want to balance the tyre wear of your front and rear tyres with this. I for example have a higher front tyre wear in most cases, so i generally have a braking bias of 50-54% which i don't change in the race.

If you rear tires get too hot move the bias forward and the opposite for front tires otherwise adjust it for rear/front lockups

But in theory is it a better idea to start the race with a higher front brake bias than when you finish the race?
