F1 2018
No Controller Vibration
I use the Xbox One Elite controller, after I played the Dirt Rally, my controller doesn't vibrate in F1 2018. No matter how I reset the settings, the controller doesn't vibrate. However, it works in other games like Froza or Drit

Same here. I use an Xbox One S controller, and I have no vibration in F1 2018 since 6h ago. I have tried unintsalling the controller driver and reinstall but it didn't work. I play on Windows 10.
Prior to discovering this issue I reinstalled my sound card driver, and that was the only thing occurred today that I don't do on a daily basis.

Codemasters please take a look - I have to post here because my account on your official forum somehow doesn't work (which is another problem) and it doesn't even allow me to register a new one.
+1, device is Xbox One default controller.Yesterday it worked, just with bit lags but today it becomes TOTALLY NO RUMBLE when the trigger rumble set in 'on', 'auto' is OK but it makes me feel my Xbox controller is a joke. pls fix it codemaster. :(

same for me ...
could this be in any relationship to the steamclient update yesterday?
some people have controller problems in SOTTR since today, too.

I use an xbox one wireless controller and after seeing this I just now went to test it and it still works fine for me. In F1 2017 I did not have vibration so I had to use the work around. Go into settings, click controller then click general controller settings then check the box next to xbox config support, then the vibration worked again.

I understand you all know this but just in case, have you changed batteries? Vibration is the first to stop working when they get low.

the rumble on controller works if you set "Trigger Rumble" to auto, but the triggers don't, if you set the "Trigger Rumble" option to ON you don't have any vibration.

I wasent talking about the trigger rumble, I never have used that I just was talking about controller vibration. I do see what your talking about though as far as settings stopping the vibration.

But Trigger Rumble worked fine until yesterday when set to On.

I personally use the wired controller, so battery is not the problem for me.

I'm reinstalling the game, but I doubt if that could work. Now I have to turn on ABS and TC for my league races...

If someone reading this have an account in Codemasters' forum (http://forums.codemasters.com/categories/f1-games-technical-assistance), could you post about this issue? My account somehow doesn't work anymore. I seriously doubt if Codies ever look at this forum.

I don't think the problem is on Codemasters end now I could be wrong obviously but I use the same controller and Im not having any problems. Best of luck, I hope you get it fixed as soon as possible. If you need any info from me, please, just ask. For example, if you would like my files to copy over, I could rar them up and upload them so you could try that. Have a good day.

Got the same issue since today, vibration work when set on Auto, but trigger rumble does not when set on On. It can't be a coincidence.

PS: I had a Steam update today, I think it is more likely to be the source of the issue than Codemaster...

I may have misunderstood this thread. I though the vibration just stopped working. If it has to do with the trigger rumble then I have no idea since I have never used it since I dont think it works with wireless controllers.

Yes, only trigger rumble does not work anymore. Standard vibration still works.
