Can't manage to use Voice Control

Hey Guys i need your help,

I'm on PC of course and i'm using a Xbox 360 Controler.
Since i'm struggling with not enough button i wanted to use voice control but even after reading stuff and trying too figure it out i can't get it to work.

My key to access the voice control is setup on LB and the key to talk (multiplayer) is set on R (pressing the right joystick). My mic is set as default on windows option and voice regognition is working properly.

If you're on win 10, maybe you need to allow the "app" F1 2018 to use mic in windows security options? Had that prob with crew chief. Played almost a whole day around before i figured it out! Lol!

The key to access the voice control should be the "Radio", if so, check your mic and verify game cache of the game from steam, this will install the software you need to recognize your voice :)

After doing long reseach I have found out the issue.
If you start the game with your microphone muted (this includes your microphone in the up position if you are using a mic headset) then the game will not recognize the microphone even if you unmute it during the game.
For the game to recognise your mic you have to first unmute your microphone and have your mic in the down speaking position then launch the game this will then acknowledge your mic.

My Mic is never muted and i still cant talk to Jeff. I got a mic separately from my headset.

Soorry but i don't know what you mean by "allow the "app" F1 2018 to use mic in windows security options". i can't find it

i did verified it and it didnt install anything ... i don't know man there must be something i'm missing

Sorry it's under settings /privacy /microphone. There's a list of apps. See if it's switched on for f1

Ok i found the menu you are talking about but F1 app isn't in the list and i can't find the way too add it but by default everything can use mic

The list is only showing apps that need permission. If F1 is not in the list, i think the problem lies somewhere else. Like i said, i had the problem with this nice little spotter tool and it was the first what came to my mind. Was worth a shot. Hope you'll find a fix.

Turn on F1 2018 game first, then you can find it in the list.

But this is useless information.
Because, MIC is works perfectly, but it's still not the game. haha.. sucks.. ㅠ, . ㅠ

Finally I found the solution. ;)

Go into your F1 2018 gamefolder.
And then open the "installers" folder.

Execute "x64_SpeechPlatformRuntime.msi" file.
When asked for action, select "Repair".

After installation is finished,
execute "MSKinectLangPack_enUS.msi" file
or another file which matches your language.

When everything is done, Jeff will hear you. ;)

he means windows apps, idk of this guy is stupide or I am, but steam games have acces by defauld, so dont worry.
